As the year ends, it’s ok if you feel tired, discouraged, and frustrated if you couldn’t achieve all the things you were longing for this year. But please don’t be too hard on yourself or lose hope in your dreams.

If you’re feeling defeated, reflect on what you did achieve and refer to your gratitude journal to remind yourself of all the things you have to be grateful for.

Just as it’s important to practice self-care this holiday season, it’s important not to let obstacles and challenges defeat you. Instead, be gentle with yourself by shifting your focus to love and energy toward peace.

If you’re feeling fearful of what the new year could bring, cultivate the confidence and courage you need to not give up on yourself and get excited about the new opportunities this coming year can offer.

1. Remember Your Why
Remembering your why is to be reminded of your sense of purpose. Mediate and journal to reflect on your mission, gain clarity for your vision, and re-prioritize the steps you need to take to move forward.

2. Have An Attitude of Gratitude
There are many ways you can practice gratitude. You can practice gratitude daily through reflection, writing, or expressing it to someone you appreciate. You develop an attitude of gratitude by counting your blessings, instantly giving you a positive mindset and outlook on life.

3. Set Fresh New Intentions
To help you start on the right path toward the goals you want to achieve, focus on how to create a fresh set of new intentions for the new year. But how can you create your intention to set you on the right path toward your goals? Here’s how.

4. Create Liberating Affirmations
Replacing limiting beliefs with liberating affirmations will free and uplift your vibrations, enhancing your self-confidence.

5. Keep Growing and Going
It can be fearful when trying new things and experimenting outside of your comfort zone. But it sometimes takes facing those fears to grow and move forward in life. Take inventory of what triggers you and embrace them to heal from them. Learning how to embrace your fears instead of avoiding them will give you the empowerment you need to conquer them,.
