Hi, I'm Koya

Who do you turn to when you feel at your lowest?

Those people you can trust and tell anything, knowing that they have your best interest at heart and will never judge you. It is important to surround yourself with positive and inspiring people, but most importantly, being able to have a close relationship with them.

You can have a ton of upbeat friends, but you are going to have a rough time if they aren’t really close to you. Having an A-Team of people you can talk to, like really CONNECT to, is one of the most precious things in the world.

They will have your back when you need support, they will stand by your side when you are feeling
down, they will remind you of all your strengths when you don’t even remember who you are and they will celebrate your victories as if they were your own.

It’s as easy as finding at least 2 people that you can tell anything to and no matter what you tell them you still feel supported. One of these people should be a mentor. Someone who inspires you with their life journey and the other one should be your best friend. Try to talk to your mentor at least once a month, weekly if you can and talk to your best friend every day if possible.

Share your hopes and desires but also your frustrations. This A-team will get you through your toughest times
and help you stay on track with your goals.

If you feel like you don’t really have an A-Team, don’t worry! Nowadays it’s so easy to meet new people through social media who share our same interests. I have made so many valuable connections thanks to networks like Instagram and you can do so too!

Think of who your A-Team is right now and tell them how much you value having them in your life, they will surely appreciate it.
