How much do you invest in yourself?

And I don’t mean it in matters of money, although it is also important, but in matters of living the
life you want. I learned about the “Love bank” concept a while back when I was still in college and
it’s something that really stuck with me and I believe it can help you make a big change in your life.

So, how does the Love Bank work?

Easy peasy.

You just need to take a sheet of paper or a note in your smartphone and make a list of 5 – 10 things
that make you happy. They don’t need to be huge like winning the lottery, but rather simple day to
day things like sitting on the beach and listening to the sound of the ocean.

You know why this is useful?

Because whenever you have a bad day or are feeling down and believe that there is really nothing to
be grateful for (because let’s face it, sometimes we can get really blinded when something bad
happens to us), you can just take out your list, read it and chose something that resonates with you
at that moment.

It will instantly shift your way of seeing things and will bring gratitude back to the table!

Here’s my list:

The sun, the ocean, the beach, water, babies, happy people, dancing, good music, smiles, learning,
teaching, good food, traveling, sand, gifts, yoga, mani pedis, bubble baths, laughter and feeling
“Loved Up!”
