To many people celery may be a quick food that you tend to snack on here and there, and while celery makes a quick, easy and healthy snack/an amazing ingredient to add into your green juices, have you ever considered trying celery juice by itself?
The celery juice health trend has been circulating all over social media and the web lately so far in 2019. I can tell you that this is something you definitely don’t want to miss out on as celery juice is the next big thing you’ll want to make sure you are incorporating more into your diet.
I wanted to share some of the health benefits of celery juice to you who still may be questioning whether or not this is something worth trying. From personal experience, I’ve felt incredibly hydrated, less bloated, and revitalized from implementing celery juice more and more into my daily food consumption.
Here are some top reasons to start drinking celery juice:
What I began to notice with celery juice almost instantly was that I felt a significant decrease in bloating. This is something that celery is amazing for as it is a natural diuretic that will help in releasing any toxins that are stored in your body.
According to Berkeley Wellness, celery is 95% water! It is no surprise that this juice is incredibly hydrating and perfect to drink right after a hard workout, a long day of travels, or a busy day in general. Not to mention, this goes much farther than just hydration; this is great for your skin and for cleansing out your system.
Can Heal Chronic Illnesses
I am a firm believer that you can use foods to heal your body and reach optimal health. According to Anthony William from Medical Medium who is often credited to the popularity of this trend, he says, “I’ve seen thousands of people who suffer from chronic and mystery illness restore their health by drinking 16 ounces of celery juice daily on an empty stomach. That’s why long ago I started the movement of drinking pure, straight celery juice…”
Ideal for Gut Health
I don’t think I’ve ever had a juice that has helped aid my digestion as well as celery juice has. Any signs of discomfort in my digestion after eating I’ve noticed has decreased significantly! Feeling very full and heavy in my stomach after eating is now a rare occurrence and it makes me feel energized to continue pushing on with the rest of the day.
Celery juice can simply be made in a juicer just like any other green juice you’ve made in the past. If you don’t have a juicer or can’t juice it yourself for any reason, there is no need to worry. You can buy your celery at a Whole Foods store and have them juice it for you. I genuinely love celery juice and am going to stick around with this trend for a while. Have you tried celery juice? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
