Hi, I'm Koya

This week we are focusing on Mental Health Awareness Month! We don’t always make the space to process our emotions and share our truth with ourselves or people we trust. These experiences can compound and express themselves in unhealthy ways later on.

It’s also easy to mask ourselves with the portrayal of perceived perfection, and ignore what’s really happening inside. It’s important that we help one another. By sharing tools, stories, apps, rituals, and insights, we can all have a mental health practice that will support us even through the toughest of times.

Invest time in your mental well being and reap the long term rewards!

These are some of my favorite apps for mental well being. It’s great to have these apps on hand. Get acquainted, find your favorite one, and practice with it regularly.

Evenflow is a meditation app designed by certified Clinical Therapists who are experts in their field to help bring you beautiful guided and targeted meditations. Combining the best of both therapy and mindfulness, you can have 24 hour support and positive guidance in your pocket.

A great morning is one flow away. Practicing yoga and moving your body is a great way to move energy and clear out any stagnation. Try doing some yoga or stretching for 5-10 minutes every morning and evening for increased focused, happier body and a calmer state of mind.

Part social network, one part teaching platform, mixed up with a healthy dose of spirituality, this app brings inspired content with an authentic and direct way to connect to a community of teachers and seekers looking to deepen their spiritual journey.

4. Calm

A great and simple app for new meditators. It’s nice to play their serene nature sounds as background music to help calm you down. They  offer meditations, sleep stories, exclusive music tracks and a monthly master class to support a healthy meditation practice.

Have you ever wanted some healthy boundaries around the way you use your technology? Freedom app allows you to block certain apps, devices and websites at specific times for when you need to go tech free and will power ain’t gonna cut it.

What apps keep you grounded and feeling your best?
