Hi, I'm Koya

Your bachelorette party signifies your “last night of freedom” before your wedding especially as you are surrounded by your best friends.

Bachelorette parties have existed for a long time in our society and while they aren’t a required tradition, they are popularly celebrated.

Typically, bachelorette parties can be celebrated at a variety of different locations, but one in particular that you may not have considered hosting a bachelorette party is at a yoga retreat.

So, why should you consider this?

Hosting your bachelorette party at a yoga retreat can be great for a group as it allows the bride to enhance the connection between herself and her best friends before going through a huge lifestyle change.

Yoga retreats give you the opportunity to get away for a bit and focus on the development of your personal and spiritual growth. The practice of yoga will do this to you alone, but when you decide to share that practice with close friends, you are able to build a bond of trust and communication that is unbreakable.

As with any pre-wedding event, brides may have a tendency to feel overwhelmed, especially in the midst of wedding planning. Whether you decide to go on a yoga retreat or not, the practice of yoga itself can really help one stay calm.

Some practices that you can give a try if you are a bride experiencing some pre-wedding stress is child’s pose and breath of fire. Both practices can relieve and lower the tension that stress may be placing on your body in order to lessen your anxiety.

Savasana, also known as “corpse pose,” can help you feel calm and help you focus on your happiness when intense emotion starts to build up.

At the end of the day, your happiness is the most important part in all of this. While you are getting ready for a large transition in your life, you don’t have to recall the moment as being stressful or scary. Perhaps considering how you want to spend that time before your wedding may allow you to experience a moment that you are your best friends will remember forever.

I highly suggest getting my book, “Let Your Fears Make You Fierce” for yourself and for your girlfriend so that at your bachelorette party, you can share limiting beliefs and find your fierce together. Click here to purchase my book today!
