I first got started in calisthenics in 2009. I fell in love with the feeling of true
strength and agility through core and functional body weight exercises because it
carried over into my everyday life. It gave me control of my mind and body and
ultimately gave me strength to master and dominate anything I wished to
accomplish. Eventually in 2011 I adopted a plant -based diet in to my lifestyle. It
took my training and quality of life to new levels. It gave me a better sense of
wellbeing and made me a more compassionate person. It’s a blessing to have been
able to make such a big impact in the fitness community to get more people to
transition into a plant -based lifestyle.
1. I like to reflect and mediate every night at the end of my day. It’s a humbling
experience to remain grateful to live in this world and also important to
gather strength and courage to keep moving forward no matter what
obstacles have come.
2. My body wakes up every morning with a thirst and hunger to improve my
functional abilities by training my body with calisthenics. It helps me create a
sense of wellbeing.
3. I make it my lifestyle to nourish my body and well being with plant based
wholesome foods.
