I’m someone who prefers saying a smoothie a day keeps the doctor away! What better way to get a healthy, fulfilling combination of your healthy fats, protein, vitamins and antioxidants than with a balanced smoothie?
For years, I’ve been starting my mornings off with smoothies because they have endless benefits that I’ve noticed in my health. Whether it is a green smoothie or a fruit smoothie, it is important to ensure that you create a combination that meets the needs of your body.
Here are some reason why you should be drinking smoothies if you don’t already:
Strengthens Your Immune System
With the blend of antioxidants, vitamins and nutrients that are in the fruits and vegetables that you are adding into your smoothie, you are giving you body a substantial amount of nourishment that will be able to support your body’s immune system.
Not to mention, if you are not a fan of certain vegetables or fruits, adding them into a smoothie can make consuming them a lot easier for you!
Cleanses and Detoxifies
With the variety of different ingredients that our body consumes daily, healthy or not, it’s always good to cleanse your system of any toxins every now and then. Smoothies are an excellent way to do this because they can help regulate your digestion and bowel movements.

Smoothies are an excellent way to curb your cravings without giving into anything unhealthy. Whatever sweet you may be craving, you can absolutely make a smoothie to replace the unhealthy version of it!
