Hi, I'm Koya

If case you weren’t aware, the whole month of March is Women’s History Month. What an amazing time to be a woman now as we are witnessing and experiencing history happen right before our eyes!

Our society is made up of so many amazing contributions from women today, whether that be writers, actresses, political figures, and more. This month, we take the time to celebrate those that inspire us and motivate us to be our best selves and work endlessly until we reach our goals.

In honor of Women’s History Month, I’m going to share three ways that you can celebrate this month. I encourage you to participate and that you spread the word to your friends and family as well.

Give a ‘thank you’ to a special woman in your life

Whether this be through a call, text, note or in person, there is nothing more heartfelt than showing your appreciation to someone that means a lot to you in your life. We all have that woman in our life that has taught us so much in our lives and have helped shaped us into the person we are today. Who is this woman for you?

Educate yourself about a woman in history

On @GetLovedUp, we have been sharing some women in history that inspire us and have touched us in some kind of way throughout our lives. Whomever this may be for you, spend some time acknowledging their accomplishments and their contributions to society. Don’t forget to check out @GetLovedUp’s Instagram page to see the women we’re celebrating this month!

Support your fellow women

There can never be too much kindness and in this world, we need plenty of it. Go against the stigma that women are supposed to be competitive towards one another and support other women! Whether this be a new business they’re starting, a new book they’re publishing or a new project their launching, show support and empower them by lifting them up! Be by their side as they embark on their new and exciting journey.

What’s your favorite way to celebrate this month’s holiday? I’d love to hear what you have to share.
