3 ways Dr. Lathon practices self-care:
- I meditate regularly and listen to insightful and motivational videos daily. These tools help keep me centered, calm and thinking clearly. When I’m feeling particularly stressed, I take the time to meditate and reset my energy.
- I workout 5 days a week (three times a week with a trainer) to reach my fitness goals. Exercise is a critical element of holistic health so I enlist help to ensure I stay on track. I feel better, stronger and it always lifts my mood.
- I take time off. When you work for yourself, it is very easy to work all of the time! Even though I love what I do, I deliberately take some time off to do absolutely nothing and it feels great! It helps me recharge.
