As we gradually move towards the end of the year, we have experienced loss, injustice, awakenings and glimmers of change across the board. In a time, such as this, it’s easy to lose hope and faith that things will work out. There are so many questions that run through our heads: When will this pandemic come to an end, who will the next president be, or will there ever be an end to racism?
Despite the fear and uncertainty, this is our time to rise. Each and every one of us has an opportunity to face our fears and love ourselves, others, and the world unconditionally. Instead of losing hope because of what this year has thrown our way, we can instead become encouraged by what we have been able to get through. And now, we have the opportunity to finish the year out on a high vibration through caring for ourselves and others as best as we know how, through:
- Voting: Vote this year on Election Day, on November 3rd, so that we may have an exceptional leader directing our country and making the best decisions.
- Donating: Donate, if you can, to organizations that are continuing to make a difference and help those in need. Some organizations to support include Black Lives Matter, “We Are Here” Movement, and My Brother’s Keeper.
- Self-Care: Continue to build your knowledge and improve on yourself. Fill your Love Bank with rest, play, and movement to show yourself some attention and care. For more inspiration on self-care, check out “The Importance of Daily Meditation”, try a “Dirty Kale Salad With Pecans Recipe”, and “The Benefits of Crystals”.
We will continue to face obstacles along the way, but we don’t have to allow those obstacles to hold us down. We can fight back with our hearts and souls. Instead of walking around in fear, we can choose to walk in LOVE. When you love yourself, you will build the right habits that will help you thrive, you will take what is happening around you and let it be a stepping stone for you to move forward and pivot (if needed), and you will learn to be at peace even when things seem to fall apart. When you love others, you’ll have compassion and understanding for what they are experiencing; thus, wanting to feel the need to help. Don’t let your fears keep you from love.
Where there’s love, there is no fear.
