Hi, I'm Koya

Are you ready for Halloween?

You don’t need to avoid this festivity because of its unhealthy nature, turn it around and make it healthy & vegan! Here are four ideas you can use for your Halloween party to keep it good for the body:

  1. Sweets are a must

Who says you can’t have sugar? Instead of getting the typical candy, just exchange it for real and healthy sugar like fruits! Just look around for the seasonal fruits and give them a spooky twist.

2. Green juices turned spooky

You are usually used to seeing healthy drinks in a vibrant green color, but if you add a bit extra spirulina in them, the green will get a nice swamp-kinda green that will look scary!

3. Don’t forget pumpkin

Pumpkin is the seasonal food you can’t miss! And there are a lot of different ways to use it. One of the easiest is to add a nice spiderweb to your pumpkin soup, pumpkin pie or pumpkin muffins! As easy as that to give a touch of that orange color that defines Halloween.

4. Make the gingerbread man scary

And it’s as easy as adding a skeletton to any human shaped cookie, cake or cupcake. Kids will love it and you can make the desserts as healthy as you want with other vegan recipes.

This way, you will make sure that everyone around you, be it your friends, family or even yourself, doesn’t cheat too much on bad things for your body and can enjoy Halloween in the best way possible.

Always remember to love yourself!

What do you do to veganize Halloween?
